: Info On New QB 78

I have been doing a lot of reading on the QB78 rifles and have decided to purchase one. Before I do I need to get a little information on them. Where is the best and most dependable place to get one in the USA. I think I would like to get just the standard model in .22 cal. and try to do all the modifications myself to get the FPS up to around 700, so I need somewhere to get all the spare patrs or do you think it would be "less expensive" to get one with all the mods already done that will achive the FPS ?

I have never owned a co2 gun before, just springers, but I really like the looks of the QB and saw pictures of the after market tuned, restocked, shortened barrel with shrouds and muzzel brakes with bulk co2 extended tubes and they look really neat. I will be using this gun around the house for plinking, pest control, rats and mice, and just messing around. I started to get a co2 pistol but with all the different modifications you can do with this gun and all the options you have I think I would like this one much better.

Thanks Bill

If you want a stock qb, I would order form archer airguns  http://www.archerairguns.com/  . If i was ordering a modified gun then it would be mike melick http://www.geocities.com/flying_dragon_air_rifles/index.html  .

Why not order a QB78 that's not tuned from Flying Dragon, their price with shipping is $75.00 which is less than Archer's ?

Wallis has Mikes old url still:)

Yup, he has $75 shipped, although after owning one of his, and one that was stock I'd definately pony up the extra $25, or at least get the one he has lubed and added the new valve stem to for $85.  Just email him, or catch him on the phone, he's one of the "Good Guys" in the airgun business, you wont be dissappointed.

btw: I'm still shopping for some good PCP ideas, will write more when I have my ideas together more.
