: What Is The Highest FPS With A QB In .177 Or .22 ?

I know the QB-7X can be very accurate and you can make it into a very nice looking rifle with different stocks and mods but I haven't heard too many people talk about the fps you can get out of one. Just wondering if you can jack it up enough for hunting at reasonable ranges ? What is the highest fps obtainable  with one in .177 and .22 cal. using co2 in cartridges or bulk ?

Bill, I cant comment for CO2 but I have seen 1017 FPS in a .22 PCP powered QB. Again, I recommend Mike Melick, he will tell you what is realistic with CO2 in the USA.

For a .177 around 800fps and for a .22 about 700fps on gas, on a hot day they can go higher. Thats using modified stock parts of course, if you get into custom made parts you can go much higher, along with much more $.
