Does anyone have a real date for the next batch of Crosman Marauders to be released?? I had a dental Appt. and couldn't get one of the early ones. The cash is burnin a hole in my pocket.

I'm pretty sure most of the retailers are saying late May, early June.

I heard from a dealer that most "major" dealers will get them May 28th, and that they will get six in whatever caliber Crosman cares to ship. They have no control over it.
Straight Shooters said they only had a couple of prepurchases in as of this morning. So that could be an option. Pyramid didn't start taking prepurchases until late in the game but already has some in this AM.
Airguns of Arizona had more than six as of two days ago. I have no idea about Mac-1 but I think the situation may be like AOA.
I have also heard that there is going to be a long lag between the first and second shipments. Maybe a few weeks.
It's my feeling Crosman wants to pay very close attention to these first rifles as they know the hardcore users will buy them up quick and there will be a lot of buzz around them. They want them to be right and they want to dribble them out and make them scarce to up the ante on desirability. I am sure these first rifles are going to be very, very closely looked at from the factory as they know there's going to be a lot of postings of shot strings and commentary by "thought leaders" on these very forums.
I missed the noon order on Wedneday myself, but got a preorder in. My bet would be Straight Shooters at this point.

I agree with Adam about the fact that Crosman will be keeping a CLOSE eye on QC on the first 100 guns shipped. Lets face it,, they would be foolish to do otherwise. Is this a bad thing????? I think not,, I feel this will give them a feel for what it is gonna take to mass produce a quality product. Lets face it Folks,, this aint no 760 destined to be under the Xmas tree for children. This is an Adult air gun destined to fall into the hands of alot of VERY descriminating Folks that dont mind spending $500 on a "BB Gun". :p Lets face it,, the Disco has been a huge success (IMO QC still lacks considerably with the Disco,s) I finally have mine shooting Exellent,,Lots of tinkerin though. :0 I agree with Long Island Hunter though,,, when you are spending $500,,,, that gun should shoot straight right out of the box!!!! I will say,, Crosman is a USA company that is really listening to us,, my hats off to them!! My only 2 concerns about the new Marauder,,(Other than QC issues),, are that "free floating" shrouded brl. & the integrity of it,,& the reliability/user friendly aspects of that rotary magazine. Power seems fine & they have givin adjustability for that & fill preasures in spades!! :D We shal see,,,,,,,,,,,Tim.
