i have put the 1/4" spacer between the cocking block and end cap as described by charliedatuna,i now have a hell of a job loading a pellet.my bolt is probed and i have to hold the bolt back to allow enough room for the pellet to be loaded.should the spacer be between the cocking block and the spring?

It's been a while but if I remember right, I put the spring in first then the spacer in the rear cap. I can't remember if I drilled the spacer for the cap retaining screw to go though or if I made a horse shoe shaped spacer.
