I have been reading all the post on all the mods for the 1377.
I installed metal breech with a long nosed bolt. Put a carbine stock on.
Then came the trigger. I read a lot about trigger mods the quickest and easy one was to smash the trigger spring.
A little more detail when writing about these mods would go a long way.
I pulled the spring out and smashed with my thumb, no one said how far to smash it. the spring felt real stiff when I took it out so I smashed it! Reinstalled it. It felt pretty good real light.
Real light!
Went to up some pellets on paper and that’s when I realized how light it was.
I sighted up push in the safety, TOUCHED! The trigger and the pellet fired.
Went in side took the spring out and stretched it out a little bit.
You really should smash the trigger spring a little at a time.

I also squashed the trigger spring of my Crosman 1377.... Takes abit of experimenting to get the right length. The first time it was too squashed and seems like not all the air came out while shooting. Lengthened that spring abit and all the air came out. Sure made the trigger less heavy though.

Now it's time for flat top if you haven't done it.

Somebody said they used a 22 LR cartridge. for a flat top spring guide

Actually what I meant is a flat top piston and valve for power mod and add a longer barrel to get 707fps with 7.9 cphp pellet with ten pumps. With that set up, it will make pumping easier for 600fps with just 5 easy strokes.
