: Lubing fill probe
: johncedarhill August 28, 2007, 05:56:19 AM
I recall seeing that I should lube the "o-rings" on the fill probe on my solo. I do not remember which lube to use and I do not recall where I read it. I have Logun grease. Is this appropriate? Logun greases and lubes do not show whether petroleum distillates are in the product. Also what is an equivalent substitute for Crossman Pellgun oil? Thanks

Diver's silicone, or Di-electric grease at auto parts stores.

I knew I should have bought some when I was at the dive shop getting a fill and the attendant said I did not need any.

Di-electric grease is the same thing, any place that sells auto parts has it.  And it's cheaper too.
