I ordered a Maccari spring for my HW77,so I've been reading alot of posts on springs. I've often heard of people coating the spring with "tar", using shrinkwrap etc. How about doing the whole thing with something like this? http://www.plastidip.com/

I have used that product before and it works well to coat handles and such I think after a short period of time it will start to peel and become a mess inside the chamber

I've often wondered if it would work but I think the vibration would cause it to come off and get lodged in the gun and cause major problems. Tar is the most reliable form of vibration control. JMO

Well,as I said crazy idea. IIRC I think I used tar when I replaced the spring in my RWS 45. Just thinking up ways to cut the vibration down..
