I put this shootingrest from old scrape that I had laying around the shop. I customized some support's from old tubing etc. and made a adjustable elevated area for the shooter. Needed a place to put the pellet's so made a smaller rest for them then finished it all off with white laminate and corner trim. Add padding for the stock, mine was a old mini sand bag and zero in at will. All my shooter's are zero'd in from this rest and I also angled the side of the rest for a southpaw and that's my big bad baby posing on it, 1250.22. Ed

Nice rest Ed. One of these days I'm going to build mine, but then I'd never get up. It will be a wooden lounge chair, with a rest, pellet shelf and beverage holder, just recline and shoot.

Thank's Mike and I thought about a beverage holder then I thought now if I spill it on my baby I would have to kick myself lol. Hmmm a reclining chair, shoot-n-sleep hehe. Ed

I've got table set up now, but with my back, I can only shoot about 30min before I have to get up and move around some. I figure with a recliner, I will be able to sit and shoot longer, as long as I can get my girls to keep setting up fresh targets, hehe.

Take care of your back buddy, I know you've had problem's with it and I think the girl's will help good ol Dad out.:) Ed

It's not gettin any better, but atleast it's not gettin any worse. I've almost got enough targets, that I can set them up once and shoot all day.

Stay loose buddy or as much as possable.:) Ed

I know what you mean about your back. That 18 wheeler that hit me 15 years ago didn't do mine any good, either. I like the recliner idea. That way, when I get worn out from shooting the B30 and B40, I can quit shooting, have a beer, and take a nap.
-
That's the idea, hehe. I'll have to attach one of those big umbrella's to, gotta stay in the shade.

Sure would love to picture how that bench must fit, but someone is "wrong handed" and just looking at it confuses the heck outa me:)
Looks great Ed, it's too bad I'm so lazy...hehe, I went and bought mine and it isn't nearly as comfy as yours looks.

Hhehe Airbud been told that before but it is nice to sit in next to the rest, lay the shooter in and rest my left arm back along the rest. I elevate the back of the stock with another small softpad and the only thing that that I touch is the trigger. Ed
