: QB-78 .25 prototype

just a picture of the .25 prototype with the match stock on it. Still working on a reasonably priced source of supply for barrels. As you can tell this barrel is in the white which most folks won't want. Shoots Crow mags at a bit over 600 right now. Notice the pretty Chinese red stock.....................

Yowza!!!!!

I would like one in white!  What is the OD of that barrel Mike if you don't mind me asking?  I'm just curious as to whether or not it would fit all of my attaching hardware on my AR2078, or if I would have to go with my QB-78 stuff?  15mm, or 14mm...it gets confusing, wish the Chinese would make up their minds and just make it in one OD.  That is a pretty red stock you've got on that, is that the stock that came in not so great shape with my AR2078?  Looks great, you do good work.

It's a 15mm Barrel, Lothar-Walther. I believe they also make a 14mm which would fit also as the stock barrel is 14.1 or somewhere around there. I was able to sand out a barrel band, it's snug but seems to work well. The stock could be the one from your action or it could be another, had a bunch here at the same time. Have another one that was cracked in the pistol grip covered with a home made truck bed coating in red on my favorite .177.

Cool, 15mm, that's what I was wanting to hear!  I have an RJ barrel band, been thinking of reaming it out to 15mm, but afraid of messing it up...hehe.  Works good on my stock QB too, maybe I just need to order another one eh?

It's a home made type of bed liner, used a undercoating that dries to a semi hard finish and then primed and gave it a coat of paint, waited for a few days then gave it a second coat. Has the dimpled finish with a bit of shine, makes for easy gripping. I don't know how it will hold up under rough handleing but works good for plinking.
