Walther Accessory Rail attachments ? Info Needed
« on: February 16, 2009, 11:35:08 PM »
While my Daisy 853 has a mount for a sling on the forestock, the Walther LGR-Universal has about a 5-inch long dovetail grooved steel rail on the underside of the forestock.  I made a brief search last night and found some very expensive Anschutz rail accessories (extension blocks, mostly), but didn't find a reference to the size of the rail's groove (are they all the same?) or an adaptor to allow a sling to be mounted.  Guess I will call Pilkington's or Champs Choice today and see if they have any more specific info about accessories for the Walther.  Anyone out there have any specific experience or suggestions?  Thanks.

Take a look at Neal Johnson's site as well.
