Mine is... But then again mine is on a QB78 Deluxe. Haven't had any trouble. Pretty good groups 20 yards or so from an untuned rifle.

My 78 in .177 likes the heavier stuff. It's shoots Crosman Premier Heavies fairly accurately. Same goes for Beeman CroMagnums and a few others.

Not sure on my 79 .22 yet. All I've put through it so far are The Peak pellets, CP's and Beman FTS. It seems to digest them all without any change in accuracy. Just a slight change in POI.

I got a 78 non deluxe in .22 cal. and it shoots rws hobbies (11.9gr) awesomely. it averages 540 fps and i get 65/70 consistent shots at 68 degress... I am shooting tire caps at 18 yards with a 4x12 on
