Scope Mouning on High Rings
« on: February 14, 2010, 07:39:23 AM »
I have a Discovery with Center Point scope. When I mounted on medium rings I had no trouble adjusting. WHen I mounted on high rings the gun shoots about 8" low and I can not adjust the scope enought to get it zeroed. Is there sonething I need to do with the rings when mounting to get it more in line? Thanks.

Check to make sure the locking shoes on the scope base are seated properly in the dovetail grooves cut into the top of the receiver.
