I shot this just before the light started to fade (which is near perfect light in my yard - shade from me to the target box, sun on the target) AND the was absolutely no wind that I could feel.
That's as good as it gets in my yard except for maybe being a little warmer for the CO2.
I've used my short (12" barreled) Talon in a few matches but never my 18" barreled Talon. It's always been sighted in for 20y shooting in my basement and the POI has been 'close enough; for some informal shooting to my 30y target.
With the warmer temps today, and a little free time, I made some slight adjustments to the scope and started shooting some very close groups with CPL's. So I decided to hang this target and give it a go.
This is by far the best (most consistent) shooting I've gotten out of this gun but today was also the warmest weather I've ever shot it in. I think this one is going to be a real winner when summer temps hit.
Weapon: Talon 6-24x50 Centerpoint (18", .177 on CO2)
Pellet: CPL .177
Dist/Pos: 30y / Bench / Front Rest
Score 140 2x (tied my high score, earned last week and beat it if you count the X's... the Edgun is jealous)
