Quick shot
« on: June 09, 2010, 03:22:14 PM »
Well it's been rain and more rain here with short shot's of sun but not enough to get out and really hunt. :o I have been busy tuning shooters and took a short break to see what's new with the family here and I had just stepped away from the computer when I caught a glimpse of this guy landing in the yard. Nothing to hard about getting him though just loaded the 800 MAG with a CPHP then slipped out to the back deck and eased the pistola around the corner of the house. Rest the sight's on center mass and let fly, he didn't flap or even think about flying. 14yrd's and I spotted the neighbors cat lurking at the edge of my property so I tossed him a fresh meal he sniffed then snagged it up and ran off to enjoy his prize supper. Thanks brothers and Wade here is the largest critter that I have taken. The G-hog is a youngster but was more then enough for my stock 1377, CPHP at 15yrds.
