Decided to move the Burris Timberline scope from the S200 to my Cyclone and replace it with the diopter sight I had on the 853. While I was at it, I drilled the aperture out to 1/16", that helped a lot. Spent a little time getting it sighted in off the bench, then decided to shoot a practice session of both the current matches. What a difference! With almost no practice, I shot my best scores yet on both targets, and with the Gamo 5 bull, I shot my first 50! On the Steroid match, I shot a 130, and for the other one, a 192. I intend to practice some more tomorrow, see if I can improve some more. So for those of you still trying to shoot these matches with a scope, think about changing your sighting system. Not that I'm about to give up a scope on my Cyclone, but for the short range stuff, well, now I understand why scopes aren't used for 10M shooting. Later.
