Drooping Barrel?
« on: April 24, 2009, 02:38:13 PM »
Do all springer barrels droop?  If so ....Why are they made that way?

My Ruger Air Hawk's barrel does not line up with the receiver or spring housing..... or whatever you call it.  It seems to droop about a quater of an inch.

It just don't seem right.

Most do Arlin,...some more than others. For a quick fix,..shim the rear ring and see if that helps. You want to align the scope with the barrel and not the action. For a more permanent fix,...get an adjustable mount. Both will work,...it's just the nature of BB's to have some degree of droop. Best of Luck, tjk
