The sights on my 1377 don't adjust low enough at 5m to get the proper sighting so I had to go with just TWO pumps. Of course that means the target doesn't have any clean holes. Just lots of tears.

I need advice on how to hold my hands. Shooting righty, how do I grip with my left?

I think I use the Weaver method. Grip the gun in your right hand and then push it into your left hand. Kinda like making a fist and punching your left hand. Your right arm will be bent slightly and your left arm will be straight. The push alows you to steady your aim. When you push into your left hand, then clasp with it to steady your grip.

The barrel on my 1377 is long and tends to wobble but this grip method helps steady it down.

For this match I shoot one handed......but if I were to shoot 2 handed (Right hand shooter).....I guess they would call it the modified Weaver stance; Feet shoulder width apart facing forward, right arm completely straight and the left bend at the elbow with the left hand fingers over the right hand fingers and the left thumb over the right thumb.

If I remember correctly, the real Weaver stance; the hand and arm positions are the same but the right leg is abit behind the left leg.....and the stance abit narrower.

The isosceles stance; feet shoulder width apart facing forward, both arms completely straight and the left fingers and thumb cover the right fingers and thumb.

Thanks Brutuz, Just received target grips from a vendor on Gunbroker.com. Much better feel, fuller grips for my medium size hands. Will see the results next week. Shoot Safe and Enjoy...Bill
