TF97 wonder why it is so smooth to cock?

So I've got my TF97 for sale.  Of course I'm reminicing about all the good times we've had together.  Screeech!  Wait that sounds pathetic.  Okay so I'm getting in some last shooting with it before it hopefully finds a new home.  As I'm shooting it I again notice how pleasant and easy it is to shoot and how fast 25 pellets just went.  As I shoot the last set of 5 I'm thinking why is this thing so smooth and easy to cock?  I flip the gun over and for the first time I notice that the cocking slot is relatively short.  As I'm activating the underlever I notice something else for the first time.  It is a double pivot articulating arm!  I never noticed this before.  Could this be why it is so easy to cock?  I know it is the reason that the cocking cutout slot is so short.

So I grabbed two more underlevers to compare.  Wow what a difference in design between (left to right) the B3, TF97 and a TX200.  It seems to me that a key design in the TF97 is the double pivot articulating arm!  Look closely at the middle (TF97) in the picture and you can see the second arm.  You can also see in the last two pictures that the swing radius is reduced dramatially on the TF97.

Why aren't more guns made this way.  Seems just like two pulleys make lifting easier because of the magnified torque the two pivots on an articulating arm make cocking easier too.  Again, I say why aren't more guns made this way?

Are there other underlevers made this way?  I've never seen a RWS 460 in person or the CFX.  Anybody got a pic of one of those?  Now I'm really curious about this TF97!

The B-28 and B-25 also have the 2 part cocking arm....I haven't seen the new underlever from Xisico yet but will in a few days....I hope it has that type arm also...the only bad part is you have to run the arm in to get it really smooth, there is a cross pin that runs on the stock cut outs and the varnish needs to be worn smooth...heres one for you guys to work out and sell,,,how about sometype of smooth plastic or metal insert to smooth it out right out of the box...

I agree with Mike on the roller surface, but for the B-25 and B28 owners, one can smooth the stock rail with a dremil tool, some sand paper, and I even used some parafin wax on the rail. A crayon would work as well. Might not be the best technical fix, but both of my B-28's are as smooth as butter when cocking and returning the barrel. The TF-97 I have is a smooth cocking rifle as well, and after the trigger polish, it's "oh so much sweeter" to shoot!!! tjk

My only consern is how long will the wood rails last, If I get to do another stock for one of them I think I'll cut out the rails and replace them with purple heart wood it's very hard and will probley last . Howie

SO I MADE A CUT INSIDE THE STOCK WITH MY DRIMAL & SAW-
BLADE , CUT IN ABOUT 1/8" & MAY BE OVER THAT A LITTLE?
BUT ANYWAY /& HAD SOME 18GA ALLUMMIUM? SHEET,
AND CUT IT TO FIT INSIDE THE STOCK FOR THR ROLLER TO
RIDE ON WITH SOME MOLY60 ON IT & GOING GOOD SO FAR!

AS YOU CAN SEE I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF A HOME TUNE !
SO JUST BE AROUND FOR SUPPORT, WOULD BE NICE.
