They've had them on special sale prices before, I don't know, perhaps with all the attention new Crosman NP series is getting noone is buying them ??? Just a guess on my part. I would also assume that they have the "older" metal trigger which means you could install a tuna trigger :) of course that's just a guess on my part, I'd check with P.A. on the trigger before I ordered one.
I have 2 synthetic stocked CFX's, a .177 and a .22 and they are both incredibly accurate, I'm talking small ragged hole groups if I do my part. However, don't believe that 900 fps rating on the .22 cal cause it's not gonna happen. My .22 shoots in the middle 700's with the FTS pellets that it loves so much.
