« on: April 06, 2009, 05:45:24 AM »

...here. By far our most popular air handgun event......10 members shown up for this event.....and daveshoot used a 2nd pistol for a fun shoot.

ronbeaux Gamo Compact N.A H&N Match 2H97

Just for fun: daveshoot P3 Iron sightDaisy Pre Max Wad 2H133 1X (?)

As a note....ronbeaux probably didn't know that we've changed target sheets...and only 3 shots per bull....that is why he have a score of 171...out of 200 I presume. Still an excellent score.

Thanks TCups and ronbeaux for correcting and updating the scores. Ronbeaux are you sure you only got a 97?.....nobody can get lower scores than me. heh heh

And yes.....the (?) behind the "X" score is because if a member did not mention they clipped the "X" or hit it completely in the 10 ring....and I think that they did I'll give it a (?). So please if anyone hit or clip the "X", mark it behind you score....thanks.

Holy Cow!!!  A perfect 150!  NOT!
Stanley:  I think you transposed my score.  It was 134 / 150, or a 134, 3X.  I am pretty good, but not that good.
And I believe Ronbeaux re-shot a 97 but didn't change his subject line (I suspect he was drunk).  And 171/200 is 85.5% or equivalent to a 128/150.

So knock the first two names off the top of the score and congratulations to JQR!  Fine shooting sir.  These scores are high enough some of us may want to start shooting at 10 meters, one-handed.
Congratulations to all -- pretty decent scores, I'd say.

What does "2X (?)" mean?

Two shots were "clean" bull's eyes.  Centered in the 10 ring, and not cutting a line.  The number of clean bull's eyes is used for a tie breaker if two or more shoot the same score.  In other words, your 134 2X is less than a 134 3X or 134 4X score.  You was robbed, dude -- we both got edged out by daveshoot.

Yep, scratch the 171 and replace it with a 97. Wasn't drunk, just didn't read the rule change from my deck chair in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico on the cruise ship checking out bikinis and trying not to get caught by the wife.

The wife don't do 'bikinis' anymore. She is more of a beach fashion statement with billowy clothing and extra acutraments such as diamonds and fancy sunglasses.

And yes, those were the drink of the day special. But that was Monday last week! It went down hill from there..........

Did you know there is over 1000 brands of tequilla????

I would like to blame the Hobby's for the outliers that offset myX's,and of course that it is the ultimate fallback position. Really it was lack of attention span. The Izzie is an awesome machine that will always outshoot my pitiful efforts. Just a remarkable piece of work. I love the P3 and my springers, too, but nothing I havecomes close to this pistol. When I shoot a 150 I will look at Morini's or something, and I think that money will be in the bank for a while....

Once again, thanks for sponsoring, tracking, and regulating these results. It is good for me and I am going to try to make some maple leftie IZH grips for the gf- she is jealous now and whining about the trigger on the P5. Demanding little thing, what do most girls shoot at home? Now she wants her own Izmobile.

These matches are helping me with my focus (mental and visual) and consistancy. Thanks guys for setting up the matches and the putting up with hassles of finding a target (or targets!) everyone can agree on.
