Dick's Sporting Goods usually has the pointed Crossman Copperhead pellets in 500 plastic packs for cheap.  I think I paid as low as $3.99 for these once, but I think they've gone up now.  I prefer the Copperhead wadcutters and they are a definitely harder to find in stock at Dick's, and they cost a buck or so more than the pointed ones.  It's hit or miss if you'll find them in stock.  Pyramyd Air has these pellets too, and a much better selection of pellets than any local store for reasonable prices if you use their "buy three, get one free" deal.  Pyramyd adds shipping charges though, and these can get quite severe.  If I can find what I want a Dick's, I buy it there because it comes out cheaper than Pyramyd.  Sometimes you can find good pellets at Big Five Sporting Goods for reasonable prices.  I can't remember if I've seen the Crossman ones there, but they have Gamo and Beeman and RWS (a few different types from each) - at least at the store close to me.

I have never seen the Crossman Premier Domed Light pellets that are so well liked at any local store, and I've never bought any or them online myself, preferring wadcutters.  I usually shoot at ten meters so wadcutters are the way to go for me.

From what looking around I've done online, you might as well just stick with Pyramyd and their "buy three get one free deal".  You're unlikely to find a significantly better price at other places.
