I just got the Beeman RS2 combo kit from wally world as well.  I have put about 250 shots through her.  I'm about to tear her down and do a debur and polishing job.  I have never worked on a springer before but i have done tons of paintball gun trigger jobs.  Has anyone attempted to modify this rifle to not click the safety on when it is cocked?  I'm going to home depot to grab a clamp to build the spring compressor right now.

Thanks for the links Bentong.  I will post some pics when I'm done with the tuning.  Also has anyone experimented with putting washers behind the top hat to giver her a little more zip?

I opened up this gun and my spring guide is not looking too happy.  The base of it has been smashed out of shape.  Also the breach is quite scratched up.  A few hours with the dremel tool and hopefully she will be in good shape.  I am looking for a replacement spring guide.  Can anyone help me find a replacement?  perhaps an aluminum or steal one?  The automatic safety is just an arm that connects the cocking arm to the trigger assembly.  The first thing I did was remove it and throw it in the trash...

So the safety still works? Just not automatic now?

Looks like I will be fabricating something similer to that heavy duty spring guide.  I wish it had a lathe.  I'm going to do it all on a craftsman corded drill secured to the workbench in a vise lol.

I'm having trouble with the spacing.  I cant get the gun to cock because the bolt end is too think.  I'm taking it to a friend of mine that has a lathe.
