I've been plinking around with my TF 89 that I got for Christmas. I just have some observations about it I'd like to share.
1) It is deadly accurate, and I mean way out there too. While it may not be quite what my 350 is, it is darned close and the 350 is nice and worn in.
2) For hunting it is lighter to carry around than my 350 and shorter too.
3) The trigger is not nearly as good as the RWS triggers I have. However it is acceptable, unlike the Gamo triggers.
4) I don't know how to describe the cocking but you have to pull it hard the entire way. Some of my guns don't get hard to pull to the last little bit.
5) The caps that cover the stock screws have popped off and went somewhere already.
6) I've never had what I thought was a twangy gun, but this one has what I can only describe as a twang. It doesn't make a smooth sound and has some vibration. It hasn't taken away from the accuracy but it does make it annoying to shoot.
I'm pretty happy with the gun and would buy another one. I think it could use a tune at some point, but I want to shoot a few more tins of pellets first.
