Gamo Tomahawk expansion (pic)

I got a tin of these to play with...i very seldom kill stuff, but hollow points are iresistable.

Looking at them up close i was dubious about their ability to expand, there just isn't very much cavity...
So i decided to use my Quest (~15 fpe) to shoot one into "Silly Putty".

Now mind this is just a couple inches from the muzzle, but it does show true expansion to about .20 cal, and interestly the pointed part of the "PHP" is still pointy.

I've used them in the past to take some game, they work well.  Shot a squirrel this afternoon with one, put him down quick.  I also find these pellets to be very accurate in a number of my rifles.  And the best part is they're cheap compared to most other pellets

Very interesting... I tryed that with beeman crowmags and predators.. both hit about .25cal :0
