John, The trigger on the B-28 is a copy of the Diana T-05 trigger. There is only one adjustment screw, and you are correct in that it's supposed to adjust the trigger pull length. The sear release pull isn't designed to be lightenned, but the let off is as you stated, nice and crisp! Keep working on the adjustment screw,...a little at a time of course!!! Clock-wise turning should lessen the trigger travel, and counter clock-wise should increase the travel,....or vise-versa?!?!? Been a while since I've fooled with mine!!!!. I think the difference in your sear release 'feel',.. is because your trigger finger is used to being at a certain position/angle to your hold of the pistol grip at the second stage before sear release, giving the pull presure the 'physical allution' of being heavier or lighter. I have heard of folks adding another adjustment screw to give a better second stage /release, but I've found the triggers on both my B-28's to be good enough for my hunting needs! Good Luck tjk
