Disco on the way..
« on: January 28, 2010, 06:36:07 AM »
Ordered the disco in .22 caliber. I also ordered The 6.5 inch tko muzzlebrake with it. I just need to be reassured, will the brake bring the gun down to the noise level of my 392, so i don't distrub the neighbors? Thanks Matt. Now i just have to wait. Its like waiting for christmas when your a little kid. And one more question, what distance do you guys with disco's sight in at? Thanks Matt

You're gonna like the Disco Matt!  I sighted my Discovery .22 in at 30 yards.  With 16gr. Predator pellets it shoots flat from 10 - 40 yards and only drops an inch at 50 yards, three inches at 60, and 6 inches at 70.

Sounds like what i've been looking for. I hope to turn the lights out on some woodchucks this summer. My benji 392 drops about 3 inches at 40 yards . Hmm, maybe i can stop buying BB guns as my girlfriend likes to refer to them. Or maybe not.

Ha !! I know what you mean..I have to continually come up with really good reasons why I need another gun. I have a marauder on the way and I've been counting down the hours. I had to swear that would be the last one (for now). You'll really like the Disco. Mine was a little weird and is in process of being exchanged but should be resolved shortly. I dont know the sound level of the 392 but I can guarantee you will be shocked by how well the TKO brake works, seriously...you'll love it. The woodchucks will never know youre there until its too late.

Dont forget to get to get high or at least medium mounts too...but you probably already know that. Enjoy!

Congratulations on the new Disco.... you are going to love it....

I was shooting mine in the backyard range today to check the scope zero it was shooting ragged hole groups at 30 yards.  I have the 6.5 inch TKO on my disco and all I can say is it's AMAZING !!  :)

Hey longislandhunter... your disco is a .177, right? if so how do you like it? I had to get rid of my Talon (unemployment sucks...) to help with bills but i might be able to swing a Disco so i am getting opinions and i like the .177 to use in FT. since i can only have one, it also needs to be a decent hunter. So what do you think of the .177 as a hunter?
