QB78 shroud or brake
« on: April 24, 2010, 01:41:13 AM »
I have a QB78 deluxe and it is a bit loud for the backyard.  I would like to know if anyone has experience with shrouding and/or the TKO brake.  I think I would need a riser breech if I am going to use a shroud, so that option is likely to be the more expensive of the two.  My questions are: what is the effect on noise, and what is the effect on accuracy?

Go with the TKO, just let him now if your 78 is deluxe or not. Barrel OD is different.

I have a QB shroud I made myself from 3/4 inch electrical conduit.  Very neighbor friendly.
