Got my x-20 back the gun smith said he did'nt realize these type of guns were that powerful of course they tested it out back on some thick steel can from what he told me and went thru one side and a big dent on the other and extremely loud when shot, i just laughed and said they make higher powered air gun than that one and he just kinda wowed about it i guess he just might get hooked.

Yes, Archer Airguns is just introducing Stoeger airguns. We're carrying the Stoeger X50, X20 and X10 models in most of their stock and scope configurations.

I first seriously looked at these air rifles at the 2010 SHOT Show and decided that they could have potential. Following that, I did extensive testing on an unselected X20 that Benelli USA sent to me for evaluation. I think this is a fine air rifle and great value for money. Accuracy is excellent, the gun is equally suitable for left- and right-handers and muzzle velocity pretty much matches the manufacturer's claims. The test gun provided a steady 900 fps+ with lead pellets (the spec is 1,000fps) and very close to the 1,200fps claim with lead-free pellets. The test will be published on my blog (link below), probably in stages in the next few weeks. All Stoeger air rifles have an excellent 2-year warranty from Benelli USA. And obviously we're offering our "Gold Service" testing for those customers who specify it.

You'll be hearing a lot more about Stoeger air rifles from me in future as we pick up further experience with the brand. I'll be testing an X50 very shortly and will post the results of this, too.
