[454 Big Block Chevy]

I know this has been posted on here, likely hundreds of times... but lets toss a new one up for the newer guys.

I shoot the following:
CPHP (Crossman Premier Hollow Points).  group very well, are cheap, and very hard pellet.  likely won't give you much expansion unless you hit something hard... but there accurate!
Pred's  (predator polymags) Group well, and rip, tear, break anything they hit.
CPL (Crossman Premier Lights) Group exceptionally well, hard pellet, good for hunting/target shooting
Crow Mags very hard hitting pellet... i've found the accuracy drops on them past 30 yds.

What can you guys say?

I want to know what a "Crosman Premier Light" or CPL is that people refer to! I do not see them listed at Pyramydair or AoA. All I see are CPHP's and CP Domed and then some other Crosman pellets but they are all 14.3 grains so none are 'Light' compared to the others. I don't see anything that identifies itself as "Light" yet I see people refer to them often.

I am shooting the
Predator Poly-mainly for pest control   16gr  grouping under an inch
Gamo Rocket- for paper and tin cans, it has a BB in the head and can/does put gouges in my steel trap     14.3gr  grouping under 3/4 inch
H&N Barracuda - I am not sure about these yet, The grouping is 2-3 inches at 20yds but that may be my Benji Trail XL needs a little more break-in. These things hit hard though.     21gr    grouping at 1.5 to 2 inches
H&N Rabbit Magnum II - Hit hard but have not been able to get good groups from them yet. May be they are to heavy.       24gr  scattergun
I have a few different pellets on order to see what I can get out of the Benji. I am trying to do it by weight and style, Crow Mags, Silver Arrow, and JSB exact jumbo heavy. When I get get a chance I will post up chrono, grouping info and pix most likely next weekend.
I am open to any suggestions on other pellets that may be good to try. This is soooooo much cheaper than 5.56 ammo.

Fortunate that ALL of my ag's perform very well with CPHP, .177 & .22 cal. Excellent accuracy from 10-50 yards and pack a punch. Cheap and available at Wally World and most sporting goods outlets. I also use Gamo Rockets when stalking game. These have proven to also be very accurate in my gunsand the copper ball adds more energy and helps the pellet flatten out when it strikes the intended target. I've tried several of the other brands and weights but stick with what works for me.

.177 Crosman Premier Hollow Points are good for most of my airguns out to say 15 meters...but out to 30 yards...I always get a few flyers out of them.  I like the H&N Barracuda and Beeman Kodiak, FTS (Field Target Special) better...but they`re abit more expensive....and I have to order them online.

The RWS SuperDome works well in only some of my shooters....so mostly it will depend on each airgun.

All I can say for sure is that the pointed pellets suck badly out of every airgun I own.  Not the dome ones (Some brands call them pointed and/or hunting pellets).  The Polymags/Predators which are really pointed...maybe that makes a huge difference since there`s less frontal area for air/wind to effect.....are very straight shooters for lots of airgunners here.  I have not tried them yet.
