Thanks for the positive feedback, I definitely am looking forward to the Fed Ex delivery Tues, along with the rifle I bought 4 diffrent type and weight pellets,
With all the know how and experience here on the boards, I feel like I have gotten quite the education in these 2 short weeks I am amazed at all I have learned, and look forward to learning more,
I haven't owned a air gun in 30 years... longer than that when I had my first one, a Daisey 840 was the first one I commited to memory, it was like pulling teeth to get my mother to let me have a gun, I was 12 give or take, the thousand of BB's I shot ! I was quite a good shot too( imho ) I could shoot a penny dead center at 25 feet, Well then there was a bartered crossman 760 ( Which my neighbor and childhood friend) shot out my front tooth with! thats story for another time, And finally a Daisey 880 powerline where I honed my marksmanship skills through my teens, and one break barrel .177 I cant recall if Crossman or Daisey due to lack of knowledge at the time it didnt last long and was a dissapointment, Well at 18 I could buy a .22 Marlin rimfire for 15 bucks more and left the airguns behind, Became a firearm collector and enthusiast avidly throught my 20's and 30's in my 40"s due to general inconviences and new intrest, my collection sits locked away in the dark,
Well here we are back at two weeks ago, Me and my lady friend are avid gardners love to landscape the yard and grow stuff to eat, love to be outside enjoying nature etc, Grackles ! or shall I say the need for less grackles was the reason which is turing into a exciting new intrest in air guns, two weeks ago after a couple days reading and shopping I bought a Remington 1200 Vantage, 5 days later I returned it, the inaccuracy, inconsistancy I was dissapointed completely, I continued reading reviews forums etc, I began to learn the nature of airguns, spring recoil back and forth, deiseling long break in periods, persnickety pellet choices the Artilery hold and then ther is the tuning ! wow I never knew of such its been a eye opening two weeks lots of very intriguing information, In all fairness the Remington Vantage is probably an ok gun my lack of understtanding mostlikely was a big part of the dissapointment.

I shared much of what I have learned with my friend amazed at the depth it can go, I look forward to learning more ..unfortunatly it looks like a expensive hobby on the horizion.. I surley cant own just one air...not and get a full experience if I hit the lotto Icould easliy drop 10 grand in a week as a start. and then there is the history of air guns dating back to the 1500's amazing ! I am really looking forward to Tuesday..

Well thanks again for all the great insight and sorry for the novel but I am excited about this new found intrest the airgun... Oh and then there is tuning surley I will have to experiend what a fine tuned rifle is like how could I not after reading all I have read about tighter grouping and such, Yea I want a 50 yard dime grouping ! or better :emoticon:
