...after reading comments from you folks. Our Walmart in Fishers, IN, has almost nothing on the shelves (nothing for airguns, I mean) except for 2 Crosman Recruits, 2 Beeman RS2's, and one Daisy 880.
Everything was marked down except the Daisy ($99 for the "Beeman", I think $39 for the recruits...not sure). The 880 was $45, and I bought it (what the heck). I also picked up 2 tins of Daisy .22 wadcutters for $3 each. I think I'll check the store in Westfield (closer to my house anyway) and see if I can get some more pellets. They're good for breaking in new springers, and at that price, why not?
They had 500ct tins of CPHP's for $6.99, I'm going to look again today and see if they dropped the price on those any -- I have a lot of .177 at home, but if I can get a good deal, then I'll pick them up.
Anxious to see if they start carrying some better guns/ammo. There usually isn't much at Walmart for an airgun fan (around here, anyway); we pretty much only see Crosman 760, Red Ryders, and the like...
