For pindog2000
« on: June 04, 2010, 02:17:15 PM »
To start off with I would like to thank pindog2000aka Cliff for the sweet Mag pistola. Matt had told me that he was sending me a little something extra for doing the camo and tune work for him and guess what should up a Browning 800 MAG. :o She's a big pistola and after inspecting her I took her down and did a tune on her. She's a sweet shooter now but is like cocking a mini Extreme lol. I plan on putting a scope on her but wanted to dial her in with the open sight's first, dialed in at 20yrds. As usual I was out in the shop doing a tune and had taken the 800 MAG out with me loaded with a CPHP since I have noticed that the Yellow Beak's are starting to hang around the feeders. :) Well I'm in the shop doing some deburing and every now and then take a peek out the door for any trespassers and sure enough I had one. The Yellow Beak was casually walking about under the feeders and pecking at the seed that had fallen and didn't have a clue that the MAG was zeroing in on him. The Yellow Beak gave me a nice breast shot so I sent the CPHP "THWACK'! and he never even twitched a wing. I don't know if it's the MAG's first kill but it's her first with me. :) Again I would like to thank my bro Cliff for the sweet pistola oh and she also has a anti recoil system in her and she will probably go under the camo knife. :) The Yellow Beak took one in the breast at 15yrds, MAG want's more of em lol. Shadow - from what I've seen, you could make that pistola look like a flippin' Yellow break with them there Camo skilz.  Nice kill/skilz.

Ed,

Once again. Nice shooting. What kind of tune does the Mag 800 require? Cost? Looks top heavy. How do you like it?
