Yes John I have had request from clients to give then a smoother cocking cycle. This would include the cocking foot and slot, and also the safety linkage as well. Anything outside the Ventur spring is possible to make the rifle a more pleasant shooter.

Great job, Bob & Gene.  Very good review. Great forum!

Gene -  I'd sure like to know what your "accuracy thing" is that Bob mentioned.  Your final field target shooting is phenomenal with a sporter rifle. How about letting the rest of us (especially newbies like me)  in on your secret(s)?

NO Secrets Cap..:) Just point and shoot. If I remember correctly those targets were shot with Bob's Whisper and not mine. His shot a bit more consistent with those pellets. I really spent more time shooting his than mine. I never really took the time to find the pellet that mine liked. At that time I had already had about 13 Gamo's that were shooting very accurate and consistent.

I have one Gamo Shadow 1000 .177 that I swapped out the barrel for a L/W Choked barrel that shoots as accurate as my BSA Lightning .177. The other Shadow 1000 .177's I have are very accurate as well and consistent. I just love them Gamo's..:)

Hello you all:
Amazing how the Whisperer improves with the tuning and  shooting more than 1000 pellets...

I've been a big and small bore shooter all my life also a big game  and shotgun Hunter.  Do to the fire arms owning problems in my Mexico I been turning to air guns.  I have a life long Sheridan Blue streak, I'm a official distributor of Mendoza  air rifles here in Nogales Mexico.

I just purchase a Gamo Big Cat, and I order  your trigger.  
-Will the trigger pull be at 2 lb one I install it?
-Do you recommend any other tunnin done by mi self?
