I started an airgun tinkering blog...
« on: April 18, 2008, 02:51:40 PM »
Hi guys, I've been lurking here for several months now and thought I'd just say hello and let you know about my airgun tinkering blog:
http://anotherairgunblog.blogspot.com/

I'm currently in the middle of a long project converting a 1377, as well as multiple little projects. Anyway, I'm trying to document all the work on my blog in hope that it'll be of interest to other machinist/modder/tinkerers. I find blogging my projects is driving me to get more projects done, which is as you know, a very good thing. I've made a promise to myself to post at least twice a week for this reason.

You have found a knowledgeable andfriendly place to be !

I checked out your AirGun Blog, and it is filled with great modifications and ideas, that's what makes airguns so great, everyone can adapt and change their airguns to meet their own needs and desires. I'll keep my eye open for your future mods, in the weeks to come !

And you have become a member of our family of air gunners here, I hope to see you post here often !

Thanks guys,
Fix, the Taig does not have provision for single point threading. So it's taps and dies. There have been some users who have made their own setups for single point, but it's a tad complex. I have other lathes (SB 10K, Jet 920) should I need to, or I can thread mill on the CNC, depending. I'm having fun trying to push the limits with the Taig stuff, forces me to be more creative.
